Jeannette Augustus Marks (August 16, 1875 – March 15, 1964) was an American professor at Mount Holyoke College. English author Robert Nichols was known as a World War I poet and playwright. Educated at Winchester College and Oxford, he served as an artillery officer in World War I, before being discharged with shell shock. He wrote poetry, giving readings to large crowds, and was part of a group of British artists sent to America.
